Booking Spa Appointments
Peak hours are often late afternoons and weekends, so book as far in advance as possible if you wish a particular day or time.. Off-peak hours are easiest to accommodate, mornings and mid-week. If you will be attending the spa with a gift certificate, it is a good idea to mention it so that the spa can advise you of any policy that may affect its use.
About Your Visit
As a spa guest, you are welcome to stay as long as you like within spa business hours. Enjoy the blissful quiet of our Sanctuary, use our Infrared Sauna, linger while sipping a cup of tea. Please inform us in advance if you would like to use our Infrared Sauna, as use is on a first come, first serve basis. On your first visit, please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to your treatment so that we can get you checked in and familiarize you with our spa. In order to remain on schedule for all our clients, we may shorten your treatment time if you are late for your appointment. The normal fee for treatment will remain the same.
Treatment Times and Prices
All prices are subject to change without notice. All treatment times are approximate.
Your Spa treatment fees do not include gratuities. Customary gratuity for each service provider is 15 to 20 percent. Please leave any gratuities at the reception desk when checking out. Tipping envelopes for cash gratuities are provided at the front desk or you may add gratuity onto your credit card.
Our guests have busy lives, so our cancellation/rescheduling protocol is designed to give you maximum flexibility. All will agree, time is our most valuable asset. We ask that appointments be guaranteed against late cancellation or rescheduling with a major credit card. Your card is not billed unless your vacated appointment goes unfilled. We do our best to fill these openings–just like you, we’d much prefer to have another guest take your place than charge for a cancellation. This allows the spa enough time to fill slots. The spa pays its therapists even if a client is a “no-show”. These policies allows us to retain great employees. You will receive emails, text and/or phone confirmations in order to guarentee your appointment(s).
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule a treatment;
- 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule two or more guests or two or more treatments.
- Late cancellations will be charged 50% of treatments scheduled.
- No shows will be charged 100 % of treatments scheduled.
- All packages must have valid credit card on file at time of booking. During peak holiday spa season (Valentines, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Prom, Homecoming, Christmas) all packages of 2 hours or more will need to be prepaid to reserve appointment times.
Forms of Payment
We accept cash or credit cards, Visa, Amex, Mastercard or Discover for payment. Personal checks are not accepted.
Product Returns or Exchanges
You may return unopened skin care products in original packaging within 10 days of purchase accompanied by sales receipt for a full credit. Due to health and sanitary reasons, we cannot allow returns on makeup of any kind so please be sure you are happy with your choices before leaving the spa. Any opened puchases may possibly be returned for spa credit as long as they are more than one-half full and you will receive partial credit only. If any allergic reaction to product occurs, product must be returned immediately to receive a full credit as most reactions occur within 24 to 48 hours.
The Village Faire Center has a 3-hour parking limit. If you plan on relaxing with us longer or staying in the shopping center, please ask us for a Parking Pass to affix to your vehicle windshield. Violators of Center parking policy may be towed at owner’s expense.
Please turn off cell phones and pagers prior to entering our Spa Sanctuary area and speak softly. We are a haven for all those coming here to relax and enjoy a tranquil and stress-reducing experience.
Skinsational specializes in group functions, whether they are business-related, wedding parties, bachelorette soirees, birthdays, or girlfriend getaways! Ask to speak to our group coordinator for more information. Deposits are non-refundable unless at least 72 hour’s notice of cancellation is given.
To maintain our serene atmosphere, we ask that you not bring children to the Spa. We do, however allow children to enjoy certain spa treatments under the following guidelines: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and all children under the age of 18 must have an adult sign their initial consultation form. Unfortunately, no children under the age of 13 are permitted in the spa.
If possible, leave your jewelry at home as you will not need it for your day spa visit. If however, you bring valuables, make certain that they are securely locked in your locker. If you choose instead to take them with you to your treatment, be mindful of not leaving them behind in treatment rooms or robe pockets.
Communicating your Preferences
All aspects of treatment can usually be modified to your taste: amount of light, type of music, table temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. Feel free to ask questions. Your therapist will appreciate knowing your thoughts and clarifying any issues you may have. If any part of your experience is unsatisfactory, first tell the therapist. If the response isn’t helpful, ask to speak to a supervisor.
Pregnancy or Medical Conditions
Be sure to mention any medical information when you book an appointment. Certain treatments may not be advisable for you. Also, before your treatment begins, let your therapist or esthetician know of any medical concerns. Tell the technician if you’re wearing contact lenses before you have a facial. If you are pregnant, massage services are provided only if you are beyond your first trimester (twelve weeks).
Nail Care Treatments
To ensure the health and safety of all spa guests and in accordance with State Board of California regulations, nail services cannot be provided if any abnormalities such as nail or foot fungus exist. We ask that you refrain from coming in for a manicure or pedicure service until the condition of the nails are restored.
It is never required that you are unclothed in front of anyone at our day spa. Towels and robes are provided and can keep you continually covered. Therapists are well trained in the “art of draping” which means that they leave the treatment room while you get under the sheet on the massage table, and they keep you covered at all times except for the area of the body they are massaging. They also leave the treatment room before you get up from the table.
What to Wear during Your Treatment
If you are having a treatment for the first time, feel free to ask the Spa Coordinator how you should be dressed for treatment. If you are having a hydrotherapy treatment, you may wish to bring a bathing suit. If you are having a Thai Massage, please wear loose, stretch clothing. We want to make sure that your comfortable, so please let us know if you have questions. If you wish to change into a Skinational robe and slippers, we provide a ladies locker room and a separate changing area for our male guests and shower available upon request or you may choose to change in your treatment room.

Our trained therapists and aestheticians are here solely to help improve your health, body and psyche. If a therapist ever feels that a client is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the treatment immediately and direct you to the front desk.
