Our new MediSpa adds life to your years!

Skinsational is pleased to announce that we have partnered with Mark Mofid, M.D., to offer MediSpa services at our new expanded location, to extend the skincare and wellness mission of the spa.

Prior to opening our new sanctuary, spa director and founder Joyce Carboni conducted a survey of the spa's most frequent 100 clients regarding their interest in MediSpa services. We received an overwhelmingly positive response, with people most interested in eradicating pigmentation problems and unwanted facial hair.

Under the direction of Dr. Mofid and his registered nurse, Elisabeth Herrera, Skinsational now offers minimally invasive procedures such as Botox, Restylane, and Captique injectables, laser hair removal and spider vein reduction, in a private area of the spa with its own entry. In addition, Dr. Mofid will offer on-site consultation on surgical procedures such as breast reduction and augmentation, face lifts and brow lifts.

Dr. Mofid, a plastic surgeon who received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Harvard University, also has a full service plastic surgery practice in La Jolla. Approximately half of his current practice focuses on reconstructive surgery for patients who have suffered from skin cancer, breast cancer and facial trauma.
